Energy Theme Planning Meeting

The Academic Affairs Committee will be working with the Center for Complex Systems on planning the Energy theme semester for Fall 2008 and we all want the theme to have a huge impact on the U-M campus. We want your input on what types of events you would like to see relating to the energy theme year and will be holding an organizational meeting with professors and administrators to start planning events that reach out to students, staff, and the Ann Arbor community on Friday, January 11 at 2:30 in a TBA location. This is going to be a huge project and we will need as many people as possible to make this theme a success. If you are interested, email John Monaghan (jpmon@umich.edu) or Andrew Fileti (afileti@umich.edu).

Advisory Panel Discussion

Before the general meeting on Jan 16 at 6 pm, SAPAA has planned the second advisory panel discussion of the year with directors and advisers from the Newnan Academic Advising Center. The focus of the meeting will be what we, as students, have learned or not learned from our advising experiences (both general and concentration). The meeting will be held in the advising center on the first floor of Angell Hall and food will be provided. If you are interested in attending (members and nonmembers of government alike), please contact John Monaghan (jpmon@umich.edu)
