PAC Election Diag Day

The Public Activities Committee is holding an Election Diag Day so the students of LSA can meet their candidates on March 18th from 9AM-3PM.

Bus Issues Conversation with Director of Parking/Transportation Wednesday @ SLC

Come to SLC on Wednesday at 6 PM in Room 2002 of the LSA Building to chat with Dave Miller, the Director of Parking and Transportation Services, about bus issues. We will discuss bus heaters, the new electronic text message system that alerts students when the bus is arriving, and finding ways to update the online bus schedule more efficiently. Everyone should come to this, and bring questions/comments/ideas you have for improving the Magic Bus system!

Detroit Partnership Day

LSA SG will be volunteering as a group at this year’s Detroit Partnership (DP) Day. If you are interested in signing up and joining us as we go to Detroit for the day to volunteer, go to http://www.thedp.org/dpDay2009/VolunteerReg.asp and make sure to mark LSA Student Government in the student org tab.

University of Michigan Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon is the weekend of March 21-22 and LSA SG will return to the marathon again this year to support the dancers at the student org area of the marathon. Whether you are a dancer or just coming to morale, stop by our table to get some treats and learn more about your student government.

FIRST EVER Student Health Sub-Committee Meeting

The Student Health Sub-Committee will focus on issues relating to the well-being of all students. This includes smoking restrictions on campus, sexually transmitted infection awareness, and mental health. Partnerships with CAPS and UHS will be maintained through this committeee. If you are interested in this committee or have an idea for a health project, please let the Chairs, Mark Chou (markchou@umich.edu) and Brandon Kappy (brkappy@umich.edu), know.
